I have had a passion for technology for as long as I can remember. Being curious about how technology works led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in computer science at St. John's University. I enjoy being able to use programming and data to come up with solutions to problems and look forward to a career in data analytics.
Knowing I want to get into the data field I took the initiative to complete the IBM Data Analyst certification. With this, I was able to use Python and SQL to gather data regarding programming languages and demographics of people who work as developers. I then used IBM Cognos to present my findings as dashboards to further understand current trends in technology.
When I am not practicing my coding skills, I run my own art business. I make acrylic paintings and have been able to find similarities between creating art and creating programs. Both require high attention to detail, creativity, and organization.
